Since 1986, the physicians of Northstar have been aggressively working to improve the level of care in the communities we serve.
The road ahead
We began this path as pioneers in quality, long before it became a buzzword.

The road will never end. We view quality as a journey, not a destination. We will never use the words "good enough." We will continue to blaze new trails and pioneer new initiatives.

Clinical Operations

Unfortunately, the word "quality" has become a buzzword, almost meaningless with how flippantly its used these days. At Northstar, quality means more than text in huge advertisements, it's been a part of our culture since 1986. Not one clinic joins our network without having been presented with our quality mission and expressly accepted that as a major part of their organization's vision. There is no such thing as "good enough." There is always ways to improve care and we will aggressively seek out the best and where guidelines don't exist to provide that level of care - we will develop and implement those methods.

The Clinical Operations part of our operation is staffed by physicians, nurses and a social worker. It includes: 

  • Quality Improvement Programs (click to jump to QI information)
  • Care Coordination (we like to think of this as house calls, a direct link between patients and their physicians)
  • Education (employer, employee, clinical staff, lab and other staff)
  • Risk Management (patient safety initiatives)
  • Technology Improvement (In partnership with our information technology vendor, we are now actively working towards implementing of electronic health records in our clinics)
  • Disease Management - over 2 decades of experience assisting patients with their health care needs
